The story behind doodlediaries and my journey in publishing a series of children's books about dog breeds began when we welcomed Henry and Polly into our family nine years ago. I instantly fell in love with these doodles. Their funny and loving personalities sometimes make them seem almost human. During our walks in public areas, I noticed that children were irresistibly drawn to them, likely due to their puffy, soft curly fur and fluffy top knots. On one memorable outing eight or nine years ago, the idea struck me to write dog stories that celebrate doodles, aiming to spread the joy I witnessed in children. Over the years, I've seen doodles becoming increasingly popular, even on vacations. Every conversation with other doodle owners reveals a shared love for our smart, funny, and loving curly companions. Last year, when Teddy joined our extended family, my affection for him inspired me to finally dive into writing these pet books. Ultimately, my passion for doodles and my admiration for children made creating doodlediaries a fantastic idea for pet education through engaging dog stories.
